Word Art Wednesday

It is time to get this blog back up and running. This photo was taken on the island of St. Maarten, in the Caribbean.  I love the roughness of the shingles, the shape of the windows and the teal that pops on the doorway.

I am using the the scripture from Word Art Wednesday challenge site.  Please go read this weeks devotion on the importance of studying God's word everyday.

Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day!

Word Art Wenesday

Harpers Ferry, WV
We are so blessed to have a God that watches over our every need.  Let us be aware of our surroundings and show God's love to those around us in need.
Have a blessed day!

Word Art Wednesday

We are so privileged to be able to travel all around this beautiful country.  We marvel at the Lord's creation and are blessed by His goodness.  This picture was taken in Rocky Mountain National Park.

Word Art Wednesday

What a great reminder that the Lord is
constantly watching over His children!

I found this little mountain Bluebird in the Red Rocks of Colorado.  He was so striking against the dessert landscape.  I am sharing this over at Word Art Wednesday
Todays word art also reminded me of the Gospel song with the same name:  His Eye is On the Sparrow.  Here is a video I found for you listen to.

Word Art Wednesday

I found these tiny beauties during my travels in Alaska.
They are so itty bitty, yet so pretty.

Word Art Wednesday

The Word Art Challenge this week gave us a verse from 1 Corinthians.  I used it on a photo I took last week of the daffodils blooming around the neighborhood.

Word Art Wednesday

I couldn't think of a photo for this weeks quote from Word Art Wednesday.  So I created a page in my art journal.  But then as I was driving around I thought this quote would be perfect for my son's engagement picture, so I created this:

Word Art Wednesday

This weeks verse from Word Art Wednesday
is Psalm 9: 1-2.  It talks about praising the Lord for all the wonderful things He has done. His creation fills me with JOY.  I can't get enough of it.  Thank you Lord for creating such a wonderful world full of glorious details.  Take time to seek out God's glory in creation.

Word Art

We are very fortunate to be able to travel all over the United States.  Below is a view from the top the Shenandoah Mountains.  As we travel we take time to BE STILL and take in all of God's creation. This is one of my favorite verses.  No matter how busy or overwhelming your life is you know that God is in control and we should just take a deep breath and be still.
I am sharing this with Word Art Wednesday and Scripture Thursday

Wednesday Word Art

Psalm 119:105 is the verse given over at: Word Art Wednesday
Go over to their site to see all the beautiful art that the design team made.
When I saw this verse I knew I was going to use a sunset picture from our many travels.  The Lord paints the sky each evening and shines His light on us everyday.  We must dig into His WORD to be drenched in His light.

Word Art Wednesday

I decided to join the ladies over at Word Art Wednesday this week.  Each week they give a scripture PNG to use in creating a card, scrap page, art journal page or any other art project.  I decided to use it here on my photography blog, so I can use my flower pictures.  I can't wait until the spring flowers start to pop up around my yard.  Until then I will use this picture I took at Longwood Gardens
