Foto Friday

This week we we had a little snow!  So pretty but I am super ready for warmer weather so we can rip off
that pool cover and dive in!
We said good-bye our food pantry co-coordinator.
These next photos are pictures of old pictures.
I posted a Throw Back Thursday picture in honor of my son's birthday this past week.  But then I couldn't stop snapping pictures of all his cuteness. I really should flip
through these albums more often.

This boy could sleep anywhere!

Bath TIME!
OMG, how adorable are my boys!
We use to hike all over Germany.
That backpack got a real workout.

Happy 28th Birthday Christopher!
Your mama loves you!

See you next Friday.

Foto Friday

Here is the late addition of Foto Friday.

I have had a crazy week.
First my hubby became a Deacon at church.

Next I want to share a picture of some of our
church family.  Love these guys!
Then guess what happened?????  It snowed AGAIN!
What is up with the weather this winter?

Smore's anyone???

Freaky playing in the snow!
Love watching birdies!

Snow selfie!
Then within a few days all the snow was gone.
The sun came out and our bulbs popped out to
welcome the first day of Spring.

I finished the week helping put together a dinner for 200 fathers and daughters!  More on that on my other blog next week.

A Look Through My Window

We had 8+ inches of the fluffy white stuff this week.
That means the birds hit the feeders hard.
All of our backyards birds came to
visit our feeders.
We have two huge windows
with feeders on/near them.
My favorite thing to do is sit
at my dining table and snap pictures
through the glass.
Sparrow

Sparrows chilling in a nearby bush.

A Walk in the Hood

The hubs and I took a wintry walk
around the neighborhood.
 Spring starts this Friday.
You wouldn't believe it by looking at these pictures.

This gray wintry day is perfect for black and white photography.  I don't shoot in black and white.  I change them in Picasa.  If you want to learn some tips about B/W photography, you can go HERE.

Foto Friday

This weeks I was busy making decorations for
an upcoming dinner at my church.
I love all these doilies!

We spent hours dying them.  While they are pretty, I wouldn't do it again. We are using them for chargers and these fun banners.
Super CUTE!
Then I made a bunch of banners for the ceiling.  I like the texture of all the doilies in this picture.

We had 70 degree weather one day and
then back to the 30's the next.
I thought we were done building fires, guess not.
Why am I sharing a picture of my dusting spray???  Well it is one of my chores that I dislike.  But this winter our home seems to be dustier than normal.  So I have to do it more often than I would like.

Anyway, this is the room that is the most annoying because of all the picture frames.
But since dusting this room every week, I have really learned to enjoy it.  I love looking at all the pictures.  I like seeing how our family has grown and changed over the years.  I love seeing the faces of people who have passed and remembering times that we spent with them.

Thanks for taking a peek into my little world at home.

See you next week!

Foto Friday

This weeks pictures are from my little trip to New York.
I went to visit friends and teach a couple card making classes.
There is a little bit more snow snow up in New York compared to Virginia.
 It was so pretty.
I loved how my friends red house popped against the snow.

This barn was at another friends house.  I love the rustic look of the barn and the sweeping snow
banks around the property.
On my way home I saw this beautiful sunset.
And just in case you thought winter is never going to end, I saw this book and had to snap a picture of it.
It made me smile.
Thanks for taking a peek at my pictures.
See you next Friday.
